Brass Company pays a tribute to the rich and full sound of brass players. Playing in our large orchestra Sonora stays a great adventure, but we also enjoy to play with just five musicians. That way, making music is much more intense. Every note counts. Moreover, the beautiful, warm sound of our brass instruments has full play in a quintet.
The five of us - Geert and Pieter play the trumpet, Dirk the horn, Johan the trombone en Maarten plays the bass tuba – play arrangements of various old and modern classics. We are asked to perform at receptions, services and diners. Our performance on the occasion of the canonization of Father Damian, 4 October 2009, is our biggest achievement yet.
